To apply mac os cursors in Windows, open the Settings app. Go to the “ Devices ” page. Go to the “ Mouse ” page. Click on the “ Additional mouse options ” link. Select a folder with the desired size Right click Install.inf and click «Install» Go to Control Panel → Mouse and choose «macOS Cursors» («macOS Cursors L», «macOS Cursors XL») scheme. Apply and enjoy. It seems to happen when i 'lock' my mac with the login window and then logging in. I'm using OSX 10.9.3 on a late 2013 13' macbook pro with retina display and two atached monitors (one on a thunderbolt-DVI connection and another connected via the HDMI out).

The symbol used to point to some element on screen.
